This Cookie Policy explains how VecturAI, Inc. (“VecturAI”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit vecturai.com and demo.vecturai.com (the “Sites”) or use the VecturAI platform at vecturai.com/login (the “Service”). It applies to all visitors and users, including individuals in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use personal data more generally. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given in our Terms of Service.
01Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Session cookies last only while your browser is open and are deleted when you close it. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or until you delete them.
Local storage is a similar technology built into your browser. Like a cookie, it stores a small amount of data on your device. Unlike a cookie, it is not sent to our servers automatically; the Sites and the Service read it and include it in requests where needed. Session storage works the same way but is cleared when you close the browser tab. This Policy covers cookies, local storage and session storage.
02What we use
On the Sites, VecturAI uses local storage to remember your cookie choices and, only with your consent, analytics cookies set by Google Analytics and, on demo.vecturai.com, Mux Data. In the Service, VecturAI uses local storage and session storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. VecturAI does not use cookies or similar technologies for advertising.
03How we use them
- Authentication — when you sign in to the Service, we store an access token, a refresh token and basic session details (your profile, the organisation you are signed in to, and when your session expires) in local storage. These keep your session active and verify your identity on each request. They are cleared from your browser when you log out.
- Security — these tokens allow us to confirm that each request comes from an authenticated user and to restrict access to your organisation’s data.
- Preferences — on each Site, local storage records your cookie choices so we do not ask you again on every visit. In the Service, it remembers display settings such as theme, layout and view options; these stay on your device after you log out. On demo.vecturai.com, the video player remembers whether the video was muted and, if you choose one, your subtitle language.
- Performance and analytics — with your consent, Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the Sites, such as which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. Mux Data measures video playback, such as start-up time, buffering and how much of a video is watched, so we can improve the video experience.
- Demo links shared with you — if we share a demo video link with you personally, it may include an identifier we assign to you. With your consent, Google Analytics and Mux Data record that identifier with your visit, so we can see whether you opened the video and how much of it you watched. Without your consent, the identifier is not sent to them. See “Demo video recipients” in our Privacy Policy.
The cookies and browser storage we use are described in Section 10.
04Third-party services
We use Google Analytics 4 and Mux Data. Although these cookies are set on our own domains, the information they collect is processed by Google and Mux as our service providers. Details are listed in Section 10. We keep this list up to date, but cookie names and technologies may change from time to time.
05Advertising
VecturAI does not use advertising cookies, pixels or tags, and does not share cookie data with advertising networks.
06Your choices
When you first visit a Site, a cookie banner asks for your consent before any analytics cookies are set. Strictly necessary storage cannot be switched off, because the Sites and the Service will not work without it. You can change your choice for analytics cookies at any time below. Each Site keeps its own choice, so set it on both if you visit both.
You can also block or delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings, usually found under the “Settings”, “Privacy” or “Help” menus. Blocking cookies and site data, or clearing local storage, will sign you out of the Service and may prevent parts of the Sites from working.
Google also provides a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. An overview of how Google Analytics safeguards data is available at support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.
07Withdrawing consent
If you withdraw consent, we stop Google Analytics and Mux Data from collecting new data from your browser on that Site and delete their cookies from your browser. Analytics data collected before you withdrew consent is retained in accordance with our analytics providers’ retention settings and our Privacy Policy.
08Do Not Track
There is no common industry standard for Do Not Track signals, and the Sites and the Service do not currently respond to them. You can control analytics cookies at any time through the cookie banner or the choices in Section 06.
09Links to other websites
The Sites and the Service may link to websites operated by third parties. Those websites may set their own cookies, which are governed by their own policies. VecturAI does not control cookies placed by other websites.
10Cookie and storage tables
All items below are first party: they are set on our own domains. Names of individual browser storage keys in the Service may change as the product develops; the categories below describe what we store and why.
Strictly necessary — Sites
Required for the Sites to work, and set in response to your answer to the cookie banner. They are held in local storage until you clear them, and are not used for analytics or advertising. We also keep a record of each choice on our servers, as described in Section 07 of our Privacy Policy.

Held in your browser on vecturai.com when you sign in. They keep you signed in and secure your session, and are cleared when you log out.

If an organisation shares a Snap with you as a guest, we also keep your access to that content, and the email address your access code was sent to, in local storage until you clear it, so you are not asked for a new code on every visit.
Preferences
Remember choices you make. They are held in local storage, are set only when you use the related feature, and stay on your device after you log out until you clear them.

Performance and analytics cookies
Set only after you give consent. They help us count visits, understand traffic sources, see which pages are most and least used, and measure video playback. If you do not allow these, we will not be able to measure the performance of the Sites.

11Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time, for example when we add or remove a cookie or browser storage item. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and publish the current version at vecturai.com/cookies. If a change affects what you agreed to, the cookie banner will ask for your choice again.
